The Photo Language Series is a photo card and language training system designed to introduce vocabulary, encourage conversation, and develop language comprehension. The set of 336 full-color pictures depicts both objects and people illustrating 7 topic areas with 48 cards per subject area. Each subject area includes its own storage box and instructions. Adjectives, model PL-01F ($39), illustrates six basic concepts such as big and little or empty and full. Verbs, model PL-02F ($39), illustrates easily recognized actions like drawing or pouring. A core of nouns are depicted in Everyday Objects, model PL-03F ($39). Prepositions, model PL-04F, illustrates 8 prepositions using 6 pictures for each word. What's Wrong, model PL-05F ($39), and What's Different, model PL-06F ($39), encourage students to analyze what they see in the photographs.
