The Little People Growing Smart Telephone is an educational toy designed for use by children ages two to five years of age with cognitive, neurological, or fine motor disabilities. This telephone teaches number recognition, Little People characters' occupation, sequencing, dialing, and learning to dial the child's home phone number. Features include light-up telephone keys, sound effects, and 10 built-in preschool songs. The child progresses through five quiz modes, each with four levels of difficulty with the ultimate goal of learning to dial his or her home phone number, which can be programmed into the toy. The unit offers 700 teaching, questioning, and encouraging phrases. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (included). An auto shut-off feature turns the unit off after five seconds of non use to preserve battery life.
