Honoring and remembering Myron Rowe, Crawford County's last surviving Civil War veteran

Roy Linn (left), of Correctionville, and John Weeber, of Lenox, bow their heads in silence during a "Last Soldier Project" ceremony on Sunday morning at the grave site of Myron E. Rowe, who was Crawford County's last surviving Civil War veteran. Weeber is a corporal and Linn is the commander of the Colonel William H. Kinsman Camp #23 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Rowe was one of six Civil War veterans from area counties honored by a ceremony this past weekend. He is buried at Oakland Cemetery.
