The Freedom Wrist-Trainer Gauntlet, no. 5720, is a wrist splint designed to restrict wrist range of motion, support the wrist in neutral, and limit ulnar motion. The splint can be worn while learning tasks which involve repetitive motion to control carpal tunnel syndrome before it starts. The proximal edge of the gauntlet has been rolled back from the forearm, and the distal edge contours to support the palmar arch and fit below the distal crease to enable free movement of the fingers. The brace is made of AliSoft, a non-rigid polyehtylene foam material laminated to nylon fabric. The nylon liner can be scrubbed to clean. An elastic Velcro strap in the pam contours to prevent irritation in the web space. Velcro wrist straps are held in place with non-conducive plastic rivets. SIZES: Measurements based on wrist circumference. Small (5.5 to 6.25 inches), Medium (6.5 to 7.25 inches), and Large (7.25 to 8 inches) for either the right or left hand. COLOR: Buff splint shell with blue strapping.
