CUSTOM ADAPTATION PURPOSE: To enable an individual with use of one hand to remove staples. A steel tube with a curved piece of steel at one end sits between the user's thumb and index finger, with projecting rods further down. When the user curls his/her fingers around the rods and pulls them up, two steel jaws at the bottom of the tube are activated to slide under the staple and pull it out of the paper as the edges of the tube descend to hold the paper in place.
