The Telex Model TDR-4AA Monaural Hearing Aid/Wireless FM Receiver is an FM amplification system designed for classroom and personal use. It combines an environmental microphone, dual hearing aid amplifiers (with separate volume and SPL controls for each) and an FM receiver in one unit. It has an enhanced low-frequency response and is compatible with all standard FM transmitters. Button earphones are available for non-hearing aid users. Hearing aid users can couple to the receiver via an induction loop or with direct audio input. FEATURES INCLUDE: automatic gain control circuitry; AA- size batteries; separate right and left earphone jacks; ability to use as a hearing aid only, FM only, or both; auxiliary audiovisual input jack for use with TV, tape recorder, PA system, etc.; 'No FM' and 'Low Battery' indicators; an optional two-channel crystal; automatic shutoff circuit when charging batteries; and an ink-erasable user name label.
