ChooseIt! Maker 2 is a lesson authoring program designed to enable teachers of children with learning, cognitive, upper extremity, and fine motor disabilities or spinal cord injury to create customized, switch-accessible choice training programs for their students. This program is similar to SwitchIt! Maker (see separate entry) but is intended to create activities for students who have advanced beyond cause and effect programs and need to begin to make choices. It enables teachers and other users to create choice making activities using their own own images and sound files. For example, the program can be used to create interesting activities in finely graded steps of progression for switch users who need to learn scanning techniques. A simple editing program is included to aid in creating linear choice making activities. Activities can be designed for use with a mouse, touchscreen, or switches. The program comes with many useful example files using photographs, drawings, and speech. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM or compatible or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: CD-ROM drive.
