The Nike Zoom Soldier 8 is a workout shoe developed for people with disabilities that are athletes to do two things, give them greater independence without having to have someone tie their shoes and to give them the opportunity to do a high intensity workout without worrying about their shoes slipping off. This is not a regular slip on shoe, and has the same support as Lebron James shoes. It slips on and then has a zipper that goes around the heel for adequate support. This gives people with one hand the ability to do a high intensity workout too. As Nike says, “Anyone with a body is an athlete.”
