TheBug is a child's stroller and manual wheelchair designed for use by children with neurological disabilities, mobility disabilities, lower extremity disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This child's wheelchair / stroller can be transformed from a low-mount stroller to a manual tilt in space wheelchair with either a front or rear wheel drive configuration using the same frame. The upper assembly can also be separated and attached to a powered wheelchair (not included). FRAME: Re-configurable frame with detachable upper assembly. The frame offers orientation in space with static center of gravity. A "Dock" interface allows the upper seating assembly to be separated and attached to a selection of power chairs using four bolts. SEAT (LxW): Adjustable dimensions, 6 to 16 x 7 to 14 inches (small lower frame) or 16 inches (medium lower frame). Features include a solid aluminum seat and back platform. Back height is adjustable from 8 to 12 inches and the width adjusts from 6 to 14 or 16 inches. Seating and positioning devices can be attached and adjusted with "Hardware-Free" seating. Positioning of the child stays the same when transferred. WHEELS: Wheel track and camber are adjustable.
