The WeatherBreaker is a canopy for scooters designed to protect individuals who use scooters from the weather. This canopy is available in standard, vented, and maximum protection styles. The standard model is made of solid fabric. The vented model has mesh material on the sides and back instead of solid fabric to provide more ventilation for heat protection while still sufficiently protecting from sunlight and rain. The maximum protection model is the same as the vented model with the addition of plastic drapes that cover the wheelchair or scooter sides from the canopy top to seat bottom for maximum protection. The plastic drapes slip over the canopy and are removeable when not needed. The canopy includes a mounting kit with all necessary parts needed to mount the canopy. Althought the kit varies slightly based on the wheelchair or scooter make and model, it includes two mounting poles that are designed not to interfere with the normal operation of the wheelchair/scooter. Once the mounting poles are attached, the canopy slips in and out. DIMENSIONS: The mounting poles are approximately 8 inches tall and less than an inch wide. WEIGHT: 10 pounds. COLOR: The canopy is available in blue, gray, red or teal. The mounting poles are black.

A resource for people with spinal cord injuries and wheelchair users in general. SpinLife sells wheelchairs, parts, and accessories on-line, and also provides a wealth of resources both of their own making (including the SpinZine e-zine) and through links to other sites. To aid customers in selecting a product, SpinLife has an on-line tool, the Advisor, that asks a series of questions such as intended use of the product and desired price range, then produces a list of products that they sell meeting those criteria. Note that the Advisor is limited to the products that SpinLife.com sells.
