WorkPlace Mentor is a comprehensive community-based vocational planning program designed for use with individuals with special needs or limited work histories. This computerized system is an employment planning system and incorporates a database that facilitates objective and targeted situational assessments in supported employment or transitional environments by matching consumer characteristics with job/work demands. The six-step process includes job analysis to yield a customized job bank, consumer profile, profile matching and assessment planning, observation and strategies, summaries and priorities, and an individualized plan. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of a Pentium 90 megaHertz (MHz) processor with 133 MHz or better recommended; Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, ME, or NT 4.0, a minimum of 64 megabytes (MB) RAM with 128 MB recommended; 36 MB free hard drive space;
VGA monitor with high color (16 bit capability)and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768; a CD-ROM drive; and a sound card.
