The Maxi Sky 440 is a portable ceiling lift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities, spinal cord injury, or severe physical disabilities. This portable ceiling lift allows a single caregiver to perform transfers using the handset control without manual lifting. The lift has a compact cassette with folding sling hooks and an integrated carrying handle. The lift has a Tarzan hook feature that allows the "swing" transfer of both lift cassette and user directly from one track to another. Room-to-room track transfers can be performed without modifying doorways. Controls can be accessed on the hand set or on the front of the lift cassette. Safety features include a brake, manual lowering system, and stopping device. A limiter prevents lift use if the battery is low. The track system can be optimized for a specific working space. Electronic soft-start and soft-stop prevent delays or "overrun". POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries, which are recharged via a cord connected to a power outlet. CAPACITY: 440 pounds. WEIGHT: 14.3 pounds.
