The Maxi Sky 1000 is a bariatric ceiling lift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities, spinal cord injury, or severe physical disabilities. This bariatric lift system enables a single caregiver to perform transfers using the handset control without manual lifting. The lift cassette can be installed on a semi-permanent gantry or a permanent ceiling-mounted straight track. A full range of bariatric loop or clip slings can be attached to the four-point sling bar. Regulation of lifting speed and spreader bar height is programmable from the handset. Safety features include a brake, alowering system, and a cord-pull stopping device. A limiter prevents lift use if the battery is low. After transfers, the lift cassette is returned to the clip-on charging station, which can be positioned anywhere on the track. Electronic soft-start and soft-stop prevent delays or "overrun" so the the lift stops in the required position. CAPACITY: 1,000 pounds.
