The MYI Occlusion Eye Patch is an eye patch designed for use by children with amblyopia (lazy eye), diplopia, strabismus, and other issues. To treat lazy eye, the child's stronger eye is occluded (covered) with a patch for approximately 2 hours every day, as prescribed by an eye doctor. This patch comes in a variety of attractive colors and designs to encourage the child to wear it willingly for the full time prescribed by the eye doctor. In addition, the patch has a strong adhesive so the child cannot find a way to peek, but the adhesive allows the patch to be removed without pain. The adhesive is latex free and hypo-allergenic. The patch stays on in moist conditions like tears, humidity, pools, and baths. There is a black occlusion layer to provide for total occlusion. The occlusion layer is thin enough to allow the patch to be more comfortable to eye lashes. Patches come in a pack of 51, including 3 designs or colors with 17 patches in each. OPTIONS: Seasonal designs are also available. SIZES: Regular for children over age 3 years; Junior for birth through age 3. DIMENSIONS: 3.16 x 2.25 inches (Regular) or 2.50 x 2.11 inches (Junior). WEIGHT: 0.16 pounds. COLOR: Available in 19 designs or 5 solid colors.
