The VersaStim 380 Medium Frequency Neuro-muscular Stimulator is an externally triggered electronic stimulator designed for muscle re-education via facilitation of muscle contraction and via augmentation of motor recruitment, pain modulation, increase of local blood circulation, relaxation of muscle spasm, prevention or retardation of atrophy of disuse, and post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent phlebothrombosis. FEATURES: This microprocessor controlled unit features measurement of tissue resistance between active pads, three waveforms (sine, square, and triangle), multiple on/off pad cycling times (30,000 plus), multiple frequencies (from 1000 Hz to 4500 Hz), multiple bursts (1 to 100 per second), three alternatives for cycling pad circuits, automatic test of all functions, an audible indicator, automatic reset of intensity to zero, and a safety switch. To be more user friendly, the unit has a membrane switch, error messages, and quick instructions on the control panel. POWER: 110/220 volts, 50/60 Hz cycles.
