As our children grow, we are faced with
new challenges. We want to keep our children safe, but we
don’t want to be overprotective. We want them to become
independent and we also want them to respect our rules and
limits.
Our role as parents changes as our children grown. When our
children were babies, we were the center of their world. Now,
many of our children’s experiences are centered outside
of the home.
We continue to guide and nurture them as they learn to get
along with their friends, neighbors and teachers.
